On Tuesd
ay 21st December at Cheltenhams regent arcade volunteers from the Volkswagen Van Centre in Cheltenham, took time away from the business to support this local charity.
General manager John Seddon and staff members, Julie Taylor, Ben Jones, Rob Allaway, Ian Nibblet, Neil Hastings, and Yvonne Ilsley helped with the raising of funds for Winston’s Wish, the charity for bereaved children, it helps young people re-adjust to life after the death of a parent or sibling. By providing professional assistance before, during and after bereavement they help them to better understand the nature of loss and offer practical support and guidance that many need in order to cope throughout the grieving process.
The team all had a great time in the Regent arcade, with people placing money in our buckets with smiles on their faces and children writing their wishes on a star to later be hung on the wish tree.
